Upon arrival in Mashhad, Iran’s spiritual capital, our friendly guide will pick you up and you settle into your hotel and prepare for a day of religious and cultural immersion. Start with a visit to the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza, the eighth Imam of Shia Muslims. Spend the afternoon exploring the vast complex, which includes courtyards, mosques, and museums. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through the surrounding bazaars where you can shop for local handicrafts and enjoy traditional Persian cuisine.
Begin your day with a visit to the Goharshad Mosque, adjacent to the Imam Reza Shrine, known for its stunning architecture and historical significance. Afterwards, visit the Tomb of Ferdowsi, the celebrated Persian poet, located 25 kilometers from Mashhad in the town of Tus. In the afternoon, return to Mashhad and visit the Nader Shah Afshar’s Tomb and Museum. Spend your second night in Mashhad, soaking in the spiritual atmosphere of this holy city.
Take a morning flight from Mashhad to Tehran, a journey of about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Tehran, drive approximately 140 kilometers south to Qom, which takes around 2 hours. Check into your hotel and visit the Holy Shrine of Fatima Masumeh, the revered sister of Imam Reza. Spend the afternoon exploring the shrine and the surrounding religious sites. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner and a peaceful night in Qom
Start your day with a visit to the Jamkaran Mosque, located 6 kilometers from Qom. The mosque holds significant religious importance and is a pilgrimage site for many Shia Muslims. In the afternoon, return to Qom and visit the Al-Ghadir Garden and the Old Bazaar, where you can shop for religious artifacts and local products. On your final day, drive back to Tehran, a 2-hour journey covering 140 kilometers. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time to explore Tehran’s historical and cultural sites, such as the Golestan Palace or the National Museum of Iran or even Spiritual Imam Zadeh Saleh or Shah Abdul Azim holy shrine.
